:clap:[see? what'd I tell you?] The black and white definitely plays with the shadows and gives them a much stronger presence. I also think it puts more emphasis on the textures, and adds to the esthetic appeal (i.e. balance between positive and negative space, and the whole shebang) making it look more like a composition than soley a photograph. I love how it looks almost like she's(?) been laid on top of an abstract painting. ;) :+fav:

i like it a lot more, but i have to tell you - after i desaturated, i looked at it.. and it was missing something.. i had to add a lot of contrast- i think color photographs don't carry contrast too well without getting too bright.. so yeah, bw does have that over color photographs.
