well.. the way i like to see it, the woman facing out seems to be stopping to ponder her situation.. where the others are sullenly walking forward and upwards.. the steps are a task and are analogous to every day life.. (again, this in my eyes.) i would be asking too much for everyone to see things my way.. but i liked it

That's how I saw it as well (you explanation). I'm especically fond of this one, it seems to have more meaning behind it than most. Also, the monotonous colors and pattern in it work well together. I like that it's in black and white, it makes it look bolder, and more emotional. The first two people's expression and posture is perfect. So did you just notice that as you were passing? Or was it planned? You've definitely got an eye that catches humor/meaning in places normal people wouldn't notice! Nice job.
the composition really is beautiful--all the lines and everything. the title and the "but why" remind me of one of the last scenes in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
